Lucys Palmer feedback:

Choreography I feel that you have turned a corner with your approach to choreographic practice. During the first feedback session you presented a substantial amount of your choreography. The piece was well constructed and shows explicit links with your concept and response to the Kandinsky painting. As we discussed during the feedback session I feel that you had a good use of space and dynamic within the work. I think you could play further with the use of off centre positions as this would alter dynamic and audience perceptions. I would like you to think about the transitions from each phase, this could be much slicker. Overall I feel that you have improved leaps and bounds with your creative processes. Keep working hard in developing this work and I look forward to seeing the final piece during assessment week.

Graham Based Technique Over the first part of the term you have been working really hard in Graham Based Technique. I feel that you are now thinking about what is happing with your body while it is moving in space. You have clear understanding of the natural spiral of the spine and the contraction and release of the body. You execute phrases with a link to emotion and attack each and every movement that is within the class. I feel that you could deepen your contraction slightly more in the pleadings; however this is hard thing to conquer and takes years and years of practice. You have a great facility in your body to continue this technique and take this further into your higher education and journey as a dancer.

Jazz Technique You have obvious background and grounding in Jazz Technique and show correct posture, placement, alignment, control and musicality within each and every session. I think that you can now think about your interpretive skills in a deeper context and begin to develop this within your facial expressions during execution of main dance combinations, not just through performance but in weekly classes. Overall I feel that you are an asset to have in the jazz classes, you bring a fresh approach to each and every session.

I fully agree with Lucy and respect her opinion , but I think that I still need to work hard to improve my technique because at the moment I am not confident at what and how I am doing.

Unfortunately I have problems with my facial expression and I probably know why. All my life I was hiding my feelings inside and now I can't show them even on a stage.

I can feel that I have improved in production of choreography because now I have more experience and inspiration. And now I began to understand and feel my body more than last year and even this summer.

I want and I will work hard because for now I am not pleased about myself.
