In our Martha Graham Technique Assessment we were assessed on;

Floor work;

  • Stretch up Posture exercise,

  • Bounces in frog position, 2nd position and parallel,

  • Simple contractions in frog and 2nd position,

  • Deep contractions with added left and right stretches,

  • Breathings and foot floor exercises,

  • Pleadings,

  • Exercise on 4th position,

  • Back stretch on floor.

Centre work;

  • Turning out exercise,

  • Foot articulation,

  • Brushes, in parallel, 1st and crossed,

  • Leg extensions plain and with tilts,

  • Strides,

  • Jumps,

  • Standing contractions and back exercise.

Travelling;

  • Walks,

  • Triplets,

  • Turning Triplets,

  • Jumps,

  • Sequence to end assessment.
