Second week of Rehearsal period ( term 2 )

First day of second week was pretty hard and busy for us. As usually we started to a warm up with Emmeline and then straight after we began to create our choreography and do positioning.

The first thing we did was positioning because we had a few small pieces already and it was enough to start make main choreography. After Emmeline put us on our new places, she started to explain which pieces we going to do.

After a while we had a good 3 minutes of choreography and by that time we knew our queues when and where to go which was impressive because in just 2 or 3 hours we did half of the piece. After a break Emmeline clarified every movement, direction and dynamic in the piece.

After one day off we had to remember everything that we did on Monday. So our lesson started with a quick warm up and then we went through the dance twice just to clarify what we have done so far.

Basically all day we were going through choreography over and over again so we definitely know what we're doing. We also had to do small task where we had to pair with someone and do 5 gestures of pushing and pulling. After we did this task, Emmeline took some of our moves and add them together so we had one more section where we had our own work.

Now I don’t really feel like I'm improving much because I don’t think it pushes me enough to develop my skills.

Last day of this week for me was pretty calm and relaxed. We had 3 hour lesson with Jasmine and afterwards we had an academic lesson with Lucy.

In Jasmine's lesson we were rehearsing our choreography for the show. As usually we started with a warm up and then went through choreography twice so we can refresh one's memory after week off. After that we started filling the gaps between small pieces which we already had. In almost two and a half hours we finished all choreography and all we did for the rest of the lesson was going through the routine over and over again so it looks perfect and we feel that we are ready to perform it on the stage.

On Lucy’s lesson we received new tasks which we have to complete within 5 weeks. Straight after Lucy explained to us how and what we need to do, we went to the library and started to do our work.
