Day 6 Collaborative Performance Project.

In our morning class with Emmeline as usually we did one hour technique class where we've learnt new phrases and one hour of Collaborative Performance Project Rehearsal.

In our technique class we've learnt new low flying floor work phrase which was quite hard to do at first but the more I went over the phrase the more I felt confident by the end of the lesson. I feel like I improved my dynamic in movements a little bit. Because I did some sharp and fast moves but also slow and soft so it makes it much more interesting to watch and also feels very good. I also started to enjoy dance even more then I did before. I'm doing moves as I want and not as someone showed. And it makes such a big difference which I have never noticed before. In this lesson I definitely felt very confident doing new phrase and I also really liked it.

Second hour of the lesson was our Collaborative Performance Project Rehearsal where we showed to Emmeline the phrase which we created with Lucy last week and did another section in main choreography with this phrase but developed it even more. We start in a line on the left side with a canon of 6 people. After the phrase ends three of us doing a frog leap over the other ones. And then we made another small phrase which is also in a canon. After last phrase we leave the stage.

In the afternoon with Lucy we continued creating new sections in the piece and also putting the all together into one main choreography. Firstly we went over the material which we already know about 2 or 3 times when afterwards we showed to Lucy what we have done with Emmeline in the morning.

For me it was quite hard lesson. Perhaps it was because a lot of people who weren't dancing were just messing around and talking so I couldn't really concentrate and also I didn't really enjoy dancing a new phrase which we've made with Lucy.

In the end of the lesson Lucy asked us to do a research about Peter Pan and Hook - their darkest sides.
