Day 16 Collaborative Performance Project.

This morning was quite busy and stressful for me. We had 2 and a half hours rehearsal with Lucy.

In this two hours Frankie and Joshua had to do duet of Peter Pen and his shadow where Frankie is a shadow and Joshua is Peter Pen. Everyone else had to rehearse Bangarang and Fairies sections.

This time I helped to Lucy to choreograph Joshuas and Frankies duet, but after Lucy told me to be a choreographer. I was very pleased about it because I always wanted to be a choreographer in the show, well, at least in one piece. When Lucy left to teach second year I stayed with them to help with a dance. But after a while I understood that it's not going to work because they don't accept me as a person which they need to listen to. Perhaps it's because we all are friends and also it depends on personalities.

So after we done a few corrections we had to move on into their monologues. Our target was to create their monologue with movements which turned out quite hard to do. It was a funny process where I also helped with an ideas but not much because they both are creative and both had many ideas. We did about half of their monologue and then went through the dance again so they'll definitely remember everything for tomorrow.

They choose "Lorde - Tennis Court (Flume Remix)" for their choreography, although it's unusual to choreograph contemporary to hip hop music.
